Ready to discover Yakushima’s untouched wilderness and breathtaking scenery—from the saddle of an electric bike? 🚲💨 Our cycling route takes you through the Western Forest Road, a peaceful World Heritage area with almost no traffic, winding through lush primeval forest. Keep your eyes open—you might spot wild Yakushima macaques and deer quietly living among the trees. 🐒🦌 Along the way, don’t miss out on iconic stops like the Yakushima Lighthouse, perched dramatically on seaside cliffs, or the spectacular Ōko-no-taki Waterfall, cascading 88 meters down into the forest. Thanks to electric assist, hills are a breeze—so even if you’re not used to cycling, you can relax and enjoy the ride. Before your adventure begins, our team will drive you from Miyanoura Port to the starting point in Nagata.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy If you need to cancel your reservation due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply: * Up to 4 days before the rental start date: Free of charge * 3 to 2 days before the rental start date: 50% of the total fee * 1 day before the rental start date: 80% of the total fee * On the day of rental: 100% of the total fee * No-show without prior notice: 100% of the total fee ※ In case of refunds, the payment processing fee 3% is non-refundable. ⸻ No Cancellation Fee No cancellation fee will be charged in the following cases: * If you are unable to reach Yakushima due to transportation issues such as flight or ferry cancellations * If we determine that it is unsafe to provide the rental service due to severe weather conditions, such as typhoons or official weather warnings In such cases, please inform us as soon as possible. ⸻ Notes * Personal reasons, such as document issues, illness, or schedule changes, are considered customer-initiated cancellations. * Vehicles are reserved in advance for each booking, and last-minute cancellations may result in lost booking opportunities.
